Storm Band

Storm Band was founded in 2009 by Mohamed Yousry and Ahmed Mostafa and they were joined by a group of young musicians from Alexandria, Egypt.

Storm Band works out to experiment with new sounds of oriental music in order to express the crises of the Egyptian youth. Reforming the old songs and reproducing the heritage of Oriental Music in a modern way. Additionally, Storm Band seeks to spread this kind of music on the local and regional level targeting young people, students with and without migrant background, from different social background and religions.
